3 Rivers Campground, Florida is on Lake Seminole and almost holds hands with Georgia. The brisk wind greeting us on our arrival reminded us that cooler temperatures were inevitable.
Due to the lateness of the season, it was almost deserted and there was little chance alligators would be on the lookout for a white lab. Nevertheless, Tucker remained on leash.
Early morning brought fog and a variety of bird species to the lake. I did not have our bird book handy and by the time I got it this bird had flown away.
We are planning to stay in Mississippi tonight and ride on the Long Leaf Trace, one of the longest trails in the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. The long days of travel have limited my movements-and that is not a good thing.
